Sydney Opera House

ABOUT THIS IMAGE

Sydney’s Opera House is quite simply one of the 20th century’s most iconic structures. Danish Architect Jørn Utzon’s daring design is now a symbol of Sydney and Australia. Located at Bennelong Point next to a bustling Circular Quay, the vast performing arts centre is completely unique in its design, and the iconic landmark is visited by over 10 million people a year. This panorama shot is taken at nightfall from the Botanic Garden, looking at a relative of eye-to-eye level with the building, with Sydney Harbour Bridge reaching over to Milson’s Point in the background.
