Luskentyre beach and the sands of its vast inlet rival some of even Australia’s best beaches. This mesmerising location changes minute by minute, day by day and it’s a joy to know that whatever you capture there is utterly unique, because as soon as you press the shutter, the scene will change and the moment is gone. Harris’ turquoise waters and white sands make you feel as though you are in the Caribbean one minute, and when the wind picks up you can be sandblasted the next. It is a fascinating part of the Outer Hebrides and its brutal beauty is captivating.
